Kids often get the smaller rooms of the house because they do not need as much furniture. Of course, if you find that you have very little space in your child's bedroom, you have to figure out a good plan for setting up the furniture. Your kid might need some extra space to play with toys or possibly add a TV or computer for recreational purposes. Out of all the furniture in the room, the bed will take up the most space and you can do something about that by considering getting a smaller bed with matching bedding. However, this can be quite an issue if you have 2 kids which means, of course, that you will need more space for beds. Other bedroom furniture may need to be sacrificed as a result. But before you do that, look at the room as whole and see if there is lots of vertical space. If there is, you can make use of bunk beds instead so you can maximize the available space in the room. Typically bunk beds have the same width and length as ordinary beds so you really save space. Additionally, along with the space saving benefits, bunk beds may also save some money over buying separate beds.
